2x2 Galvanized Tubing

A zinc-rich galvanizing method was used to coat 2x2 galvanized tubing. Galvanized tubes are a less expensive alternative to stainless steel for rust-free protection for up to 30 years while keeping equivalent strength and a long-lasting surface coating. We provide a large selection of sizes in precut lengths, full mill lengths, and can hot dip practically any size and quantity for any welding or construction job.

Galvanized steel tubing can be cut, machined, or welded in the same way that ordinary steel tubing can, although proper ventilation is required to avoid inhaling fumes when heated. Galvanized steel pipe is an alloy layer formed when molten metal reacts with an iron matrix, combining the matrix and the coating. Pickling steel pipes with hot-dip galvanizing is a process. After pickling, the pipes are cleaned with ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution, or ammonium chloride and zinc chloride combined aqueous solution, and then transferred to the hot-dip galvanizing tank to remove the iron oxide on the surface. Galvanized Square Rectangular Tube has a protective zinc coating that resists rust and corrosion and is less expensive than stainless steel round tubing. Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion, and extended service life.
