2024 on 28 June, the steel pipe sub-technical committee of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee organized the pre-examination meeting of the National Standard GB/T 3091《welding and galvanizing steel pipe for low pressure fluid transmission》 and the group Standard Examination Meeting of the Steel Association of 《Steel Pipe and component for Socket-type disc-buckle scaffold》 in Tianjin. The meeting was attended by 36 expert representatives from 25 steel pipe manufacturers, research institutes and steel pipe users. Mr. Wang Yaping, general manager of Tianjin Xingxintong Metal Technology Co. , Ltd. , was invited to attend as a member of the Steel Standard Committee.
The welding and galvanized steel pipe for low pressure fluid transportation is the largest product of steel pipe industry, which is widely used in municipal construction, municipal engineering water supply and drainage, fire, gas, air, heating and other fluid transportation, the standard that this product executes is GB/T 3091. The current 2015 edition standard has played an active role in standardizing industry market behavior, improving product quality, promoting galvanized steel pipe market image and expanding product application fields. Since the implementation of the standard, we have collected some experience feedback from the users of the standard. On the basis of the comprehensive views of all parties, the standard was included in the first revision plan of the optimization plan of the standard system. According to the feedback, the revision mainly modified the product size and specifications of delivery, zinc-coated steel tube flattening test requirements, zinc coating weight acceptance rules.
As a new type of building material, the steel pipe and its members are widely used in construction engineering and municipal engineering for their good mechanical properties, light weight, long service life and convenient installation, and has gradually replaced the traditional scaffolding materials and installation methods. The steel tubes and members of socket-type disc-buckle scaffolds are usually made of welded steel tubes through cutting rod, stamping, welding, hot-dip galvanizing and other processes. The standardization of steel pipe and fittings is very important to ensure the safety of products, the installation quality and efficiency, and the interchangeability of repeated use. This standard has standardized the product category, structure type, size specification, material quality, technical requirement, inspection method and so on of steel pipe and member for socket-type disc-buckle scaffold, easy to design, manufacture, inspection, procurement, construction and other parties to use.
