LSAW Line Pipe

SAWL pipe is also known as LSAW pipe (Longitudinal Submerged Arc-Welding Pipe). It involves taking steel plate as a raw material, molding it with a molding machine, and then welding it on both sides with a submerged arc welder. The LSAW steel pipe will have high ductility, weld toughness, homogeneity, plasticity, and sealing as a result of this technique. Due to high internal or external pressures, LSAW line pipe is an unique welding process used in pipe production where the completed product demands a particularly high wall thickness.

With this in mind, LSAW line pipes are commonly used for oil, natural gas, gas, central heating, water supply, sewage treatment, and other related applications. Because it is a straight line weld, the weld is brief, therefore faults are unlikely to arise. And, as a result of the expansion, pipe geometry accuracy is substantially enhanced, which greatly helps on-site welding.
