Seamless Line Pipe

Seamless pipe is made from a steel cylinder that has been heated to a very high temperature and then pierced with a probe to make a hole in the cylinder. The cylinder is sized by rollers to achieve the desired diameter and wall thickness. Seamless line pipe is mainly used for transporting high-pressure oil and gas near the wellhead, and it is a welded steel pipe manufactured by seamless pipe production. Because there is no weld, no special treatment is needed for the weld area. The qualified seamless steel line pipes have been tested by nondestructive testing, and the finished products have a wide specification range, good toughness, plasticity, uniformity and compactness, and have the advantages of thick pipe wall, high pressure resistance, low temperature resistance and strong corrosion resistance.
